9 Super Tasty Tequila Rose Shots

The ingredients for this recipe by Tequila Rose are simple. All you need is Tequila Rose, vanilla pudding mix, milk, strawberry puree, and whipped cream. Mix up the Tequila Rose, vanilla pudding, and milk. Let it chill, then fold in the whipped cream and strawberry puree. Combine one ounce of Tequila Rose with ½ ounce of Herbal Liqueur. Shake over ice and fill your shot glasses full. This is one you’re really going to enjoy. 

French Kiss shots are probably the most popular and widely known Tequila Rose shots. This is a layered shot, so it’s a good idea to have a spoon handy to carefully drizzle each liqueur over so that it rests gently on the layer below it.

This shooter by Tipsy Chickens is delicious and tastes like a chocolate-covered strawberry in a glass. The recipe calls for Tequila Rose and Dark Creme de Cacao, but you could easily substitute a different chocolate liqueur of your choice. 

First, add the Creme de Cacao or chocolate liqueur to the shot glass, then float the Tequila Rose on top. Garnish with a kiss of whipped cream, and you have one tasty strawberry shooter cocktail.

You only need two ingredients – equal parts Tequila Rose and butterscotch schnapps or Buttershots Liqueur. 

Line up your shot glasses and first pour in the butterscotch liqueur. This is important because the butterscotch is heavier and denser than the Tequila Rose, so it needs to be on the bottom. Next, very carefully pour the Tequila Rose on top. Don’t pour too fast, or the Tequila Rose will mix into the schnapps. The recipe doesn’t call for it, but we think this one would be perfectly garnished with pink sugar or a chocolate-covered rim.

For this one, you’ll need a cocktail shaker. Add in some ice, along with Tequila Rose, your favorite vanilla vodka, coffee liquor, half & half or heavy cream, and a splash of grenadine. Place all of the ingredients over ice in a cocktail shaker and line up your shot glasses that have been garnished with a nice thick rim of cupcake sprinkles. Shake well, and pour equal amounts into each glass. This is one dessert that you don’t have to share with the kids! 

The Rosy Nipple is similar to the Pink Pussycat shot, but instead of being layered, this one is super easy, being shaken together before being poured into your shot glass. This recipe comes from Tequila Rose themselves, so you know it’s going to be good. 

Mix one ounce of Tequila Rose to a ½ ounce of butterscotch schnapps. Combine with ice in a shaker, give it a good toss, and enjoy.
